Naim Audio announced a price rise for the Uniti range of products and it takes effect from 1st January 2018 in Singapore.
Recommended retail prices for the entire Uniti range (Uniti Atom, Uniti Core, Uniti Star and Uniti Nova) and our in-house home stereo streaming packages consisting Uniti will be higher in 2018 as a result. All Naim orders and streaming packages placed before 31st Dec 2017 will be honoured with the existing 2017 prices.
Customers who are willing to commit (and comfortable with the wait) we highly encourage you to place your orders with our specialists before the new prices take effect.
Below is an explanation for the increase taken from Naim’s notification.
“With so many uncertainties facing global markets and the impact on currencies, our costs have increased substantially in 2017. Whilst we continually aim to reduce these costs where possible, the current climate has had an impact on our new Uniti range cost to manufacture. We have absorbed all of this impact during 2017, but looking forward we must now pass some of this to the end customer.
We believe the new SSRPs not only reflect the current currency climate, but also the exceptional value that these state-of-the art products achieve.”
Naim Audio has been working hard to try not to pass these costs on immediately and remain committed to minimising necessary price increases. However, these unique trading conditions have meant that it has been necessary to bring forward price increases.
While we do not have the updated price list yet, we are expecting at least 15% increase across the entire range. This is the first price revision in Singapore since the launch of Uniti and we highly recommend our customers to place orders by 31st December 2017 before new prices take effect.
